That is a bit of an objective question imo. The teleflex set I put in my boat on a budget back in 2008 are still there and working pretty good. I think I paid around $200 for the whole set, still have the trim gauge as new, never used it. The face on the speedo began to fade and crack a year or so ago, but none of the others. I got them from Great Lakes Skipper. From there, it goes uphill pretty steeply. Rumors of trouble at Gaffrig and Livorsi, at times, have driven some to Auto Meter Marine gauges, and the price goes up as expected. Depending on your situation and need, you have to make the decision on how much you want to spend. On a run a bout, bow rider or pleasure boat, teleflex would likely meet your need at a fair price. Otherwise, a better gauge will cost you. Best of luck!
