Hull ID Hydrostream or Action?

I bought this boat from a friend back in 1988 and he had lost the title and registration. I had to register as homemade, but I'm trying to find out what the make is. There is no Hull ID or capacity plate. Can anyone tell what this is from the photos?

Looks to be a Ventura I or II, or 17' Action. Best way to tell:
Ventura Length: 16' 6". Beam: Ventura II - 84", Ventura I - 76". Transom Height: Ventura II - 22", Ventura I - 20".

Never saw an Action with factory gel splatter interior, but could have been done later. If you still can't tell, get some pics inside. There are differences in construction. From your neck of the woods it's most likely a 'Stream.

Dimms would indicate Ventura I but the center deck is flat like a II. Not sure but here is the deck pic.297999

Thanks Guys, I guess the 16' Action is still somewhat desirable? I'm looking to down size and sell the boat. Just wanted to be sure what it was I am selling. Never really cared before as it always run awesome.

Back when I ran this boat i had an IROC. So i needed to rebuild the trailer, just used the tongue and built the trailer around the boat nice and low. It looked really cool going down the road with the boat hooked up.

If I asked $1,500 for the boat, trailer, new custom interior, custom aluminum fuel cell, new set of gauges and hydraulic jack plate is that is the ball park?

Yeah, it sucks he lost it, but at least it can still be registered. So, good price? too low?

No, the transom was repaired and they covered over where the ID was.

That would awesome if there was.

Is this a good hull? If I can't sell it I was thinking of putting a 150 to 200 hp on it. It had a Merc 115 straight 6 and ran real good like close to 60 MPH. Great handling boat as well.
