Did you decide against building a new trailer for it then? I just knew you'd like the one it came on! How's the rust situation with that salt water??

:D

The trailer is doing great!!!! I wash it with the boat and motor every time I pull out. Of course the motor gets flushed out too. I'm glad the trailer is made out of C channel so you can see any rust starting. I have a sand blaster so a blast and repaint in the future won't be a problem. Bet you wish you still had her eh?? Don't worry, she has it real good up here. :o)

You've been running it for a few weeks now with the good motor, it's time to start working on your article for the IHR or S&F!

for the last couple weeks. I will be up and running next week though. I have thicker head gaskets and some Tony Doukas reeds coming this friday. I'll have the same friend out with his GPS as I had with the 150 on it. It'll be interesting. I'll even have speeds with the 200 on there.

Seems like all the HI-PO hot rodders on the board have break downs all the time. That's why my next hot boat with have a weak little 200 fishing motor on it....

after running down Silver Bay lastnight at 100 mph and 8000 RPM's, A fishing motor just won't do. I do miss the 200 powerhead when it was in there though.

You've had both of 'Streams best hulls at or above 100, the V-King V-pad and the Virage Turbo tunnel. How do they compare? How is hole-shot compared? Handling at top speed??

For calm water the Viking is without a doubt the funnest and quickest. You just don't get the feel of flying in the Virage. But get in the swells and it's hands down Virage all the way!! A few days ago I was running at around 100 MPH and was trimming up when the bow started to lift. Yea LIFT!!!!
I diden't think these were supposed to do that!! I eased off the throttle and it settled down quickly. When I say lifted, I mean about a foot. I'll keep ya posted.
