really nice work...the top of the front deck looks kinda like a 69' cowl, you might want to add a couple of NACA intakes just for the hell of it.
Just currious why you guys are building a 17 footer instead of a 20+ footer. I thought there were more regulations for smaller boats like foam flotation, HP limitations etc...
Great job all around...someone's got the woodworking down to an art.

I was just there..... dropped off my cat for some re-rigging, let me tell you this 17 is going to be a HUGE HIT........ the crew was final blocking the deck plug preppin' for the mold ,the lines are unique and fresh, it will look as good as it performs, it really is state of the art, vacuum bagged, foam core, etc. Wait till this thing has the 300(that Spark already has for testing)on it and look out........ You could always put smaller power on it and stiil FLY........... Can't wait to see the finished product, I'll keep you informed. Bill:D :D :D :D Oh Yeah, there will be an improved custom deck for the 32' boat that will carry this cool deck styling thats the next big KILLER project, glad to see it all happen........... THANKS SPARK.

with that 300, kinda heavyand they don't like rpm, but it ill have some grunt, yesssiree. I think it will be a hit too. I've been looking a looooong time for a boat like this. Never expected to find one in being built in my home state. Jolley, you don't know Steve Droope do ya, yer name rings a bell for some reason. I wonder how it would run with my drag mota? :D The Saginaw Bay beckons, running one of these 17's out there is going to be a riot!!!

Test with a 300? Guess the transom is pretty stout huh? :D That's a lot of iron, sure will be interesting to see what level warp it achieves.

I camp at the same place right around the corner from him. I think we drank more Captains than anyone in the world last summer. you know, he was on administrative vacation:rolleyes: :D . Small world, tell 'em Lynn sez Gordons a bitch, and should stick to wearing panties instead of TRYING to drive a pathetic excuse for a race car. :D :D :D :D :D :D Rainbow warriors, I get it now............ That's your 32'r in the mold right? They do some sweet work there! Maybe see you this summer!! Steve's new love.......:D

Did you mean as in Captain M? My favorite stuff to choke the foam off fresh Coke? I sure hate it when I open a new 2 liter and it takes 10 minutes to fill a glass...:) I found some private stock for the holidays, mmmmm good.;) Hey, it is friday...better see if there is some around here....

Captain M, V-8 Splash of your flavor, some Pineapple joose, ice, BIG GLASS, think there was somethng else. I swear I drank as many gallons of that stuff as I did gas in my boat this summer. Woooooooeeeee! We kept the Captain in buisness this summer. Half gallons dissappeared at alarming rates. Spanked his much ballyhooed kitty cat, Good! I told him he needed to let me do some trickery this summer, but no. Just like a gordon fan. (A name not worth capatalizing) Summer ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....

I'll have to try that! It is only 70 proof except for the private stock, so it goes away faster but that makes it better in some ways. Used to mix it with tropical coolers or tahisian(?) treat soda as well.
Now that is getting the hull dry! Maybe you will have Vicious making them next....:D He's got the vacuum....he's gonna hate me for saying that:eek: That 17' Cat sure is looking good! Now I hear mumbling about speeding up the hst too...something going in small boats here or is this normal? I can't believe Vicious will not sell that cat....not everyone wants a 30 year loan on their boat.
