Stinger long shaft to Evinude 55 hp short shaft

I was looking at an old post and I thought I read that the 55 hp short shaft midsection and lower unit is compatible with a 75 hp stinger powerhead. Is that true?

Fits. As long as it's a 3 cyl. I have done the conversion to use the 55hp short mid. Lower unit has same spline if you choose to use it but it's the big gear case and likely electric shift. Put a nitro gearcase on mine. Drilled out the steering tube to fit the shift rod.
