Now

Guys, It’s time for the STV Pro Comp Ski to find a new owner. It’s a 1990. I’ll sell it or consider trades for a similarly valued Euro and nothing else. But I’m picky about the colors and not looking to travel far right now. This boat has the Ski bottom. And for those that don’t know, the Pro Comp Ski has a wider cockpit than the River Rocket but not as wide as a Euro. This is for the hull and trailer, it is rigged for Mercury. I bought this from Moomba a couple of years ago and here is a link to his original ad. http://www.screamandfly.com/showthread.php?238022-1990-STV-Pro-Comp-Ski-1990-Mirage-Ski-Racer&highlight=

Some of the pics below are from Moomba (S and F vendor and previous owner) but most are mine. The boat is in the same or better condition than when I bought it from him. I did have a moisture meter on it last summer by a pro and he tells me the boat is dry all over. I encourage anyone interested in it to come see it for them selves. It presents very well, but it’s not perfect.

There are currently Smart Craft Tach, water pressure, and trim gauges in the boat, but I have the standard ones if you prefer them.

It has a GPS speed with recall and a smartcraft tach or 10k analog tach (you choose). All gauges are functioning and the seats are free of any tears. But the depth finder is sometimes finicky. And I haven’t bothered to sort it out as I don’t rely on it much.

The trailer is a dual axle galvanized bunk trailer. The tires are very new and the trailer has a detachable tongue for saving garage space.

I believe I paid 8600 from Steve for the hull and trailer and that’s a good price for this kind of boat in this kind of shape in this neck of the woods. Since then I had the floor professionally painted, I installed a Stainless Marine mechanical trim indicator ($350) You supply the sending bracket for your motor. I also installed an In Control foot throttle top mount with special cable and the bracket that allows for fore and aft adjustment. (Not cheap) (IMHO the best foot throttle made). And there is 4 new low profile trailer tires ($250)

As I said above there are four new low profile tire and you can have the 4 tires I replaced too. I only replaced them to get the boat lower to the ground for shallow launches.

So, hull, dual axle trailer, choice of gauges, sea star hydraulic steering, mechanical trim indicator, and rigging.

This is it running about 116-117 heavily loaded. I don’t know what the hull weighs but my guess is it’s a middleweight.
It's a rough unedited video....

This is a pic borrowed from Moomba. I hope you don't mind, Steve.

It is a pic of the trailer

A pic to show the trailer, the boat no longer has the sponsor's decals on it. And the new tires are lower profile...

Weekend Bump... If you want a little wider cockpit than a River Rocket, this will do it.

And I'll include the 4 tires that came on the trailer when I bought it. I only replaced them because I wanted lower profile tires for shallow water launches.

I'll add all this to my description above.

I've had two people buy this boat and then not come up with the money. Neither were from this site.

Anyway, down to $7250

TTT and a price drop to $6,980 to get it out of my garage before I change my mind.
