We run the Calosahachee River east of FtMyers wheres no speed zones and plenty of room to run.Skip we have a few that might make the trip next month , any other hotels nearby if we decide to stay the night.Paul:D

Water's only a foot or two deep BB. But two feet of mud. Head gear would be nice.:D

What distance do they run & what kind of speeds?

The track is 400ft ,water depth can vary from 6in to 3ft .Speeds vary modifed boats run from 80 up to 105 with some on NOS and the unlimited guys have run up to 118. Bob everybody runs manditory safety equitment during regular races but on weekend get togethers its up to the drivers.

Hey that's cool. I use to know a guy (painted the bottom of his) that had a drag air boat. He had an IO 560 Continental on the bottle!:eek: I asked him how dangerous it was. He said if you let off the throttle too much at speed it would blow over!:eek: Wouldn't be fun if the motor broke at speed.:)

That looks so cool. When I retire to FL I'm gonna have to try that, looks awesome.

I took a couple of air ride tours with my son north of Naples last year, it was great. Heard lots of Big Block open headers running around. How far north of Naples do you guys run.

Do you have to worry about gators popping up at mid track?
