Did Blarney Island catch fire?

Was talking to my neighbor yesterday and he heard the other day that part of it burned. Says he has heard this from a couple of different people. Anybody know anything about this?

I know they (the state) burned a large part of the swamp just behind that. They do that every year. I myself haven't been to the port in a couple of weeks. Maybe I'll go there for lunch>>>>>>

If you are talking about the same island off of Bayshore, ny it was set a blaze by a couple of moron on atvs that had a bond fire. They burned the dam thing to the ground.
