Anyone have an old Porsche and have trouble getting parts? I have my tranny in a zillion pieces. Replacing a bunch of parts thanks to the idiot who owned it before me.

Most of the aftermarket places sell steering wheels, gearshift handles and big spoilers....:o I might have found a place. Should know today.

I would post a pic of it in pieces, but it is toooooo scary!!!!!!!

I am either smart, brave, or just plain stupid!:D

I guess I'll be smart if I can get it back together and it works!;)

My son's first 2 cars were 928's, the first with 50K + miles on it when we got it, then another one with less. We found a place in Atlanta called Porsche Audi parts. They were a dismantler and had tons of stuff. It's been a while and I haven't needed them again since he's long since out of the Porsche interest, but I'll see if I can find a phone number. (Internet search didn't turn up anything, so they may not be there or may've changed the name. They had a big place with lots of cars back then)

I found a place called Automobile Atlanta. He said he could get me anything, even if he had to order it from Germany....LOL

Anyone have any input from this place?
