Is it possible to restore the fiberglass on a white boat that underwent wet sanding to the original "mirror like finish"? It is basically pretty shiny after buffing, and waxing but it lacks the "depth" that it once had. Is it possible to get it back to where it once was?

Thanks for all the help......................LMAO..............I bought some things, did it myself, and it came out great.

Sorry I just now saw this, I would have chimed in. I had a 1988 Talon that was cleaned with soft scrub by the previous owner. I used heavy compound on a DA, then swirl remover, and after hours of polishing with that it came out looking nearly brand new. What did you use?

Makita rotary buffer.............3M Finesse It II polishing compound. Slow rpm's, and used orbital buffer to apply Meguiars's Flagship wax. I never thought it would come out like it did, simply amazing and even more amazing that this was the first time I really tried to fully restore it. I did a lot of reading prior to trying it because many people say you have to know what you are doing with a rotary buffer or you can ruin your gelcoat.

That's true but gel coat is really hard so it needs the heat a rotary produces. Just keep moving and you should be good.
