I have an rc miss geico 24" that came with a 550 brushed motor, and its pretty slow...looking for peeformance. I now have an 1800kv 6 pole brushless motor. Can i just keep the original shaft collets, or so i need a new collet? Also, should i change the flex shaft to a rudder and strut? Will the flex shaft hold up for the year?? Please get back to me.

Hey sponge bob you can go to intlwaters.com and they will be more than willing to get you the answers you are looking for.
As long as it's strong enough, you'll be OK. The Blackjack 29 uses a high-powered brushless system with a flexshaft and strut.
