21 cats, Talon or skater?

I'm in the process of looking for a 21 skater or 21 talon. Any thoughts as to which one will give a better overall performance. Does anyone know anything about the new companies who are making these boats, Lightning skater out of Fla and a company out of Texas making the talon

The boat is beautiful!!! I saw a boat just like that somewhere showing the paint job. Same boat? I'm only looking to put a single 2.5 on it and not twins. What do you hear about a liberator with a single?

Yeah, that's the same boat. I sell em' and paint em'. A 21 Liberator WITH A 300x will run around 102-105. A 280 will do 95-100. Depends alot on the setup. Not sure where you will be running your new boat ,but if its rough there there's only two to pick from a older 21 Skater or a New 21 LIGHTNING,we at LIGHTNING have made some much needed changes to the 21 skater,on the deck we have filled in the splash well and made the deck rounded in the transome area,but most of the changes came to the bottom.the skater has one strake on each step of the bottom,with the LIGHTNING,we have put two strakes on each step,on the front two step's we added a strake 2" off the bottom of the V,giving the much needed bow lift that the skater needed to stop the bow steer at low speeds,on the rear step we moved the strake over 4" so while up and running at speed ,The LIGHTNING runs on less weted surface,as a result of our changes we have changed the additude,and increased the top speed with better handling,along with much better materials avalible now over when the 21 skaters were built,we feel that we are building a better built and faster boat,not to take anything away from skater they are a great boat,are boats are all composit materials with a Vinelester blend resin,they built with the best materials available today!We only ask that you look for your self befor you buy,and when you see are new Interiors,they can be compared to the best any were in the world,in boats costing over a half million dollars,thankyou for your time and hope you give us the chance to show you ,your next new boat! Personaly,I don't think a 21 Talon can compare with either of the boats above.Theres one here that has a 2.5 on it and it won't pull you @ic* out.Lucky if it breaks 75mph.:cool:
