Need photo help!

I'm trying to insert a photo for a prop I want to sell but the photo file is WAY too large( 2.2meg).
What software do I need to get in order to do this? I'm not the most computer savy person in the world, but once I have the program(or whatever I need) I can usually figure these things out.
Please, please, please, someone help me!:eek:

There have been a few threads posted about this. Do a quick search on that topic and see what you can come up with. If I were home, I'd email you a copy of my photo editor.

Maybe someone will step up and let you email the photo to them and they can cut it down for you. Happens all the time.

I could not think of imposing on someone's time and ask them to do what Doubledog suggests. Though I do appreciate your replys DWdog!. I want to be able to do these things in the future so I know I need some sort of software to do so. I'll do a thread search like ya suggest Doubledog and see what I can find.:D

I use " Photoshop 7.0 ".you can do some cool stuff with it too!

Get a photo editor program. There are some free ones on the net too. Get your image into a jpeg type file and a resolution of 100 or less. Search for it here, there was a good thread on it not long ago.

If you are having problems sending them to some of the guys, send it to me and I will resize it for you. I enjoy doing it and I will resize photos for your avatar too. :)

Appreciate the offers from Talon2.5 & Vector Mike to resize for me. Looks like I need a "photo editor" software. I downloaded one off the net ( took about 10 minutes, 4.75meg program) and it would not go pass the setup window! The hell with it, I'll go and buy one. Thanks again guys, I knew I could count on someone to help me out.:p

Went to Best Buy and got some software( Photo Explosion Deluxe, it was only $30 after rebate). I finally got a picture included with the prop I have for sale. A 4blade cleaver if ya interested, check it out at the props for sale section. Thanks mucho to everyone for ya'll help!:p
