Hi all.New here and have lurked for awhile, but my first post. Great stuff on here. I have a boat project that i'm having trouble identifying. I'm fairly sure its an Allison,15' 2" long, but cant dechipher a year model.Boat will need serious help, but not worried as to make it concours or race, just carry two around and look good. It has an odd dash from the others I've seen pics of,and don't know where to start. Thanks in advance :)

What does the dash look like? What's the hull ID in the transom

No hull ID on transom.Instead of having the center steering wheel and little steps, its flat and has the steering to the right side.I accquired the boat from a friend, but he wasnt sure either. Has drum and cable steering and a non operational 80's chrysler 50. Not sure about posting pics here yet. thanks

It looks like the r series but just plain. No gauges. Not a bass boat. Looks like seating for one, maybe two if they were small.

Possibly a Royal Craft. They were one of many companies that built a "copy" of the Allison 15R in the early/mid Seventies. If I recall correctly, most of their 15's had a slightly different deck than the Allison R15. Primarily in the dash and splashwell areas. Good luck on your search/project.

The only hull numbers I found were on a piece of aluminum trim,at the cap of the transom. Looking those numbers up on the internet shows a BFG-XXXXX.Would be Browning Fiberglass. I'm pretty sure it some variation of Allison. Was on its way to becoming a flowerpot when I found it,but still seems to have potential. I hope these attachments come through. Thanks. 291710291711291712
