I recently bought a 22 talon converted into a flats boat with no power, I was told it had a 300xs on it. It has a 4.5" set back spacer and a cmc jackplate. Today I picked up a 225 optimax 25" shaft with intentions of changing out the mid and working the lower for the right price. Any advice on set back, shaft length, and gear ratio would be much appreciated.
