I thought I'd get seller's anxiety and back out at the last minute. We've had some good times together, and this being the last Mod VP decked boat that Roark ever built, I always thought it was especially well made. Since I never found time to put one in the water last year, it was just plain silly to keep all 3. At least it went to a good home........ somebody that will enjoy it and run it more than I did.

Myself and many others here suffer from the same disease that you are dealing with. By talking about it with others, like us, is the only way to get through it. ;):D

Post some pics!!!

11 more steps to go my friend.

Which one did you sell?
I know how that feels, it's like letting go of an old friend, saying goodbye to a loved one...well maybe not that bad, but close. These pieces of molded fiberglass become a part of us.

I'll bet it was the red one. The one you backed out on when you thought you wanted to sell it before.

I'm still suffering from giving my Hydrostream away two years ago. Hopefully the Skater will help me through it - if summer ever comes!!!!

It was the red/yellow/orange one. I've been trying to post a picture to this thread all night, but this new POS Hewitt Packard scanner is so damn complex it'd take a team of engineers to run it. My other one was excellent.......3 steps, scan, size, save. This one has about 12 and there's no logical path ANYWHERE. Why the hell can't they make this stuff simple, or at least some logical pattern to follow without having to memorize a bunch of crap that doesnt make any sense.

My problem is size limitation. With the old scanner I had no problem makin' em any size I wanted. The new one seems to bypass the step and if I try to go back to a sizing format it takes me all the way back to creating a new scan. I'm REALLY PISSED with it right now. This was supposed to be an upgrade from the old scanner and all I see so far is super complicated to operate and slow beyond any reasonable patience level.

IT ain't the scanner, it's the software program you're using with the scanner. Norris, you can send it to me & I'll resize it for you iffin' you want. Try editing the finished scan with a photo editor instead of the scanner program (also, save it as a .jpg instead of a .tif)

Cooty Hex? Are you sure yo' wife didn't up the dosage?

Are you gonna be changin' your name now that you've got a REAL boat? How 'bout FullFast or RealFast? You've gotta at least go up to 3/4 Fast.
