Karl had an extra engine laying around so he found a skiff to put it on.
Should be a blast to run around all the local rivers and lakes.

I think I saw that boat for sale some where. Looked like a cool boat, with some neat history too. Hope i get to see it some time.

Good to see it rigged again and ready for the water, I hope Karl enjoys it, I'm sure he will it's a fun little boat, won't be long and he'll probably be hanging a V6 on the back, the last motor we had on it was a 12" 260 Merc.

That particular boat has been that color since Dad painted it several years ago and rigged it to race. The original color before the resto work was a blue color but I never posted any photos of it before the work.
Shandon Nichols in Arkansas had one like it that was blue/yellow. It went to Canada I think.
Both boats are V-Mates , this one is a '77 model.
Damn good handling boat...can handle lots of HP if ya want it on there.

Never ran nitrous on this boat, had a stock 260 EFI on a cut down 12" mid,
Best 1/4 mile e.t. was a 10.80 @ 100 mph.
Normally ran it in 11 second class in Lucas Oil Dragboat Series.
It would handle a "300 drag" just as fine.

you all are crazy.! with the up most respect.
will be fine running the rivers in the 50's with it.
Karls VENOM with the drag and my T3 with the 2.4 will do just fine for the faster stuff.
thanks
Dago.
