The offshore stuff is nice, but kind of boring and too much freakin $$$$$. The mid michigan boat show is the biggest joke, come see all the newest tin fishing boats left over from last year and new 25 hp fourstrokes that make the hull shake at idle, not to mention if your over 60 you can't manually start them with out a pacemaker. Tin boats and Bleach Bottle shaped fishing boats, YUK!

This the other end of the hall. G.M. is pulling down there upper deck in this shot. Two hours before the boats start coming in at midnite fri. we were still finishing up are work :o.
What's the name of the new Hydrostream dealer in Michigan?
I want to find out if he's going to be there? Simple task, right? Has anyone tried to find out yet? If that dealer is smart, he'll be there with the new Voyager (is the new Vegas out yet, too?)
That would turn some heads...

pyro , I think Stream 1 said that he didn't think there would be any new streams at the Cobo boat show. If there was going to be some new streams or some type of small performance boats there I'd go.

Capt., Do you know if Spark was going to be down there? I'd like to talk to him more about this tunnel I have. He worked for the company that built it and has rebuilt several more. The thread that Stream 1 posted about a new stream dealer in Michigan is where he said that he didn't think there would be a new ones at Cobo:(.

My truck decided to seize up a wheel bearing the day I was taking my HST there, so I never made it. He left for Fla the next day.

I remember reading that, You sure have had a great winter, man :( . Wouldn't it be sweet to have a small boat builder popin out HST's in Michigan , Ya know they wouldn't be just slapped together.

It sounds like they bag everything and the lay up technique is very cool, 1 person to do a 32 cat. My HST is fast, looks great save for a couple spots, but the construction left a bit to be desired. Rumor has it it was my boat that made those molds (I'm not even going to say it). But have been told they are nice.
Owned by Jim Rau. When I talked to him a couple months ago he said that he'll start ordering 'Streams sometime later this spring, so he won't have any at COBO. I'll give him a jingle and make sure.....
Too bad. If he had a way to get a Hydrostream demo boat out there, he's be getting some major attantion, and lots of orders. Nobody else is selling anything family/performance, he wouldn't have any competition...

I would still be going down there every year if they would have more for Hi-performance boaters . I think it's been getting worse over the last ten years. I don't even have to pay to park at Cobo :D.
