I have a sportmaster and I am running a mazco RE prop. This set up is new to me but it seems that I have the wrong trust washer. When installed the back side of the thrush washer contacts the carrier right around the props shaft seal. It seems like I need a different washer with a different amount of taper so that it doesn't slide as far onto the prop shaft. Has anyone else run into this before? Are there different thrust washers or are they all the same? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

If it's a fat shaft, it doesn't use a thrust washer, there's no taper in the propshaft for the washer to seat against.

It's a standard shaft. It definitely has a taper in the shaft

Don't recall if that uses a stepped washer, but if it does you need a 13171T1

James you were correct. The washer was just very worn. I put a new washer on and it fit snug against the taper and everything looks good now.

thanks for the help!
