Secord Lake in Gladwin MI

I looking for info on Secord lake from any one that lives there or boats there. I am boating there with friends this spring and summer.

Nice lake, a little confined and twisty for a 28 but the crew there likes to run.

secord lake is a hot boat friendly lake

Secord is a great place to run. You can bring your Skater and run no problems at all. They love the hot boats at Secord. We go out there almost every Saturday and Sunday morning in the summer and tear is up. All the people drink there coffee in the morning and watch the show when were racing down at the lake. Always getting a thumbs up.

My friend said he got flip off by a fisherman on secord one time

lol thats probably because they were sitting in the middle of the lake when we raced by them at 90 mph. Gotten that with him that day. Oh well they know were out there every weekend morning so they better move.

Lol yeah sure was funny when they flipped us the bird. They were sitting in the middle of the lake fishing and we always race the length of the lake. So one of us would go on one side and the other on the other side. They didn't stay there long after we did that a few times. LMAO good times out there you'll have a good time there for sure.

No problem on average we have 4 to 5 hot boats out there in the mornings. I think there are 14 total hot boats on Secord. Maybe more

Do you guys still race sleds yet in front of the marina?

I'm not sure if they still do that anymore. I was out of snowmobiling for about 7 years. Kids were to young for me to get out there and use them. Just got another one this year. Not a race sled by no means but gets me back out there and having fun again. I don't ride the river that much mostly go up by Gaylord area and ride on the weekends. I'll go down there this weekend and see if they have a track plowed.
