I bought a set of cleavers on here with the understanding that they were fat shaft. They turned out to be small. However I have chopper weld-in hubs can these work in the cleavers? Yes the cleavers have removable hubs.

Just buy a couple fat shaft solid hubs and go.

Will that work? I have two drop in fat shaft hubs now, will they really work?

If the props are designed to use them sure.

They currently have pressed in small shaft hubs...are they normally able to use the separate hub?

have the barrel's modified to square bore. then they will take the drop in hubs 15 or 19 spline.

The weld in hubs from the shopper worked. Unfortunately props didn't perform great so I wasted a pair of choppers to get it done.

that's the bad part about welding in fat shaft hubs. now only someone with a fat shaft can run those props.
our conversion makes them universal. sorry I didn't get to this thread in time to help you.
I need to call Tim at Hoss and talk to him about the conversion. Will help a lot of guys converting props. He may already know what I'm doing. He's a great guy. don't mind sharing with him at all. :)
