I wish more guys would come on this run (put the past B.S. behind us-you can't change history) and come enjoy the boats, friends, and the cause. This is one of the best parts of the St. Johns river for running side by side with multiple boats, cops are cool (no speed limit) and the people make it what it is. There are two very accommodating hotels for us, an easy ramp access and a bunch of waterfront stops.

PLUS YOU GET TO BOAT IN DECEMBER!!!

Palatka , nice town and plenty to run on especially nice south to Silver Glen . Great running on the St Johns with plenty of room .

Thanks for the video. Look like the weather was perfect. Far from the 45 degrees and rain I am getting now!

I ran the Toy for Tots run in the St. Johns two years ago. Other than an OPC circle race back in the 70's, only time I have been on that part of the river. Just beautiful water, nice sights, places to stop--I am very sorry that there seems to be this big divide between some people on S&F and Russ--he puts on a nice event, the location can't be beat, and if you really get ticked about paying his $25 or $35 for the shirt and the party (that run we just watched burned up a whole bunch more in gas), you don't have to. Wanted to be there this year, motor is still down, but I will plan to do it next. Tom, wuold be great to see you there!

And hey, I watched the whole 18 minutes--brings back great memories.

Someone (not going to blame anyone with big feet) hit the blower switch and we woke up to flat batteries so we went and hunted down a new set of optimas (not easy in Palatka), then of course we had the girls with us-enough said you know the deal. But we still had a good day even with the morning issues.

Aw heck--he just wanted to show off a video of him passing everybody!

Now Randy said, in his for sale thread on his 25 Lib/twin 300sx that he let everyone get ahead of him then reeled them in at 109.2. Soooo, Joe, were the two of you dicing it out?

I think that video was from 2011. Not this year.

Randy had his blue 30 footer this year, he ran the blue 25 two years ago and I was with him.--I need to get my 24 skater project done so that he and I can do battle. Randy just got done building a new 25 liberator (yellow and black) for his personal boat that is going to be faster than the blue 25 but I think Warren and I will still give him acid with the 280s. He likes to be out front for sure.
