Alright I need a question answered. On a new boat. Does it matter how long a time frame it is between mating the bottom hull and top deck together? Can they just sit seperate until the builder is ready to install? Thanks Mike.

Not sure, but I would think as long as the bottom half is supported in a way so it doesent loos it shape or deform. And the top is supported so it doesent develope a sag, them the time seperated would not matter.

Right
Normaly the decks and the hulls are bult in batches together and installed within days or weeks of each other... Really I cant see a huge problem as long as they match up ok.. weather its glassed together or rivited its really the same issues. This all assumes we are talking about the same bottom and top and they were each taken care of in storage once poped from the mold!

It matters if the hull and deck are going to be fiberglassed together. Laminating resin has a windo of oppertunity, otherwise area to be glassed must be scuffed up.
