Hi everyone, I just found this site while desperately looking for intelligent Outboard life on the internet. I found this site last night and have not been able to get away from my computer since. What a great place, when the weather is too bad to go boating.

Fish Well... YOU FOUND IT - BROTHA!! Welcome! :D
Thanks for the welcome Paul, Jason and eautosales, I feel the addiction starting already. Is there any treatment/cure in case I have to leave my computer and go to work?

I guess we are just doomed to a life of good companionship, intelligent conversation, boating tips, and outings to meet others also so doomed. :D :D
P.S. By da way, Welcome (home:D )

Welcome and injoy. This is one great place.
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I will posty pics a soon as I can. Of course, compared to the rides I have seen so far, I am definately bringing a knief to a gun-fight. Then again, judging from some of the threads I have read so far, a lot of you started out with knives before graduating to bigger and badder addictions.

to Scream and Fly, definitely the online goldmine of outboard performance info.
The talent in this circle of boaters would blow your mind. From people like Ken Warby and John Marles to people like you and I ,with humble beginnings but a burning desire to go faster;)
An addiction maybe, a necessity most definitely!!!
The twelve step program for me, is to be twelve steps or less from one of my boats or Scream and Fly!
Welcome!

Hey new Fish, Did anyone mention the fees? All new guys send a ten spot each month, no, wait, each week, Yea that's it, to each of the "freakin Gurus" until they themselves become a freakin guru....what,? nobody mentioned it? Damn.
Welcome :D
Scott, $10 bucks a month is cheap for the amount of info here, but I sent mine for the year in already. What, the rest of the guru's did not give you your cut????? LMAO :D
Seriously, thanks for the welcomes everyone. If there is a cure for this addiction I am forming, don't give it to me and what ever you do, do not tell my wife about it.

Welcome to Scream and Fly Fish, You don't look like Abe Vigoda do ya?? :D :D You'll have to hook up with some of us Osceola county boys and hang out and curl a few sometime. We get together pretty rugularly, but most of us are down for one reason or another. There's a big deal happening at East Lake Fish Camp towards the end of March. You should try to make it over to meet some folks. The South Carolina boys are coming, couple of Louzanner boys, and even one or two from New York. Like I said, with all that, plus the regular crowd, a good time is guaranteed and you'll get to put some faces with the names.
It don't matter how fast you are, all ya got ta do is float. :D If there's an empty seat, you ain't even gotta do that.
ShorePounder,
don't think I look like Abe Vigoda, but I am willing to learn-LOL. Hooking up with the Osceola boys sounds great, especially with a few 12 ounce curls. I moved here from Pinellas County so the boat is a little more equipped for gulf running than it is for some of the lakes around here, but I am trying to convert.
Here is my ride.

With a little luck and some good rain, that might fit in a lake or two around here :D :D
Sweet looking boat!
