Some A$$hole called into CBS, and got on the air and made a joke about finding part of the people..... Someone needs to find him and give him the A$$ whipping he deserves!!!!!!!

yeah verry bad... sorry to see this happen.
i think this may bring up a point though. there is a problem with running an airplane or spacecraft for over 25 years and thats metal fatigue. metal can only take so much no matter how many times you inspect it or test it it WILL fail after a period of time.
these older aircraft and especially older spacecraft have to be scrapped after a predetermined number of years and i think this kind of thing will only continue to happen if these craft are not pulled from service. and thats a shame to see people die because of being concerned of the money it wil take to replace these things.
this may not be the case but it may have been a factor.
just my opinion.
