Brand new Shield fuel supply, vent, and fill lines (A1 coast guard compliant). Brand new stainless steel worm clamps. Brand new fuel vent and stainless steel deck fill.

Trailer: Tows great. Stratus Dual torsion axle trailer. Was originally made for a stratus bass boat. Wide custom bunks added for the tunnels, custom bunks added for the center V-hull. Loads perfect every time. New winch strap. New custom winch post and custom roller bow stop. (Lowered for the low-profile hull). Stratus stickers peeling on trailer. New bearings installed in two of the hubs front right and front left. All hubs are good with no slack and all have bearing buddies. Trailer has hydraulic brakes, but the previous owner let the master cylinder dry up. The cylinder moves, but I have not tried to fill it and bleed the system yet. I inspected the drums and they need new pads. The boat is so light and I was towing with a larger vehicle so the lack of brakes did not bother me. Lights work great. Fenders have some rust spots and a few creases, but still work and are strong enough to stand on. Needs new tires.

Boat History: I purchased the boat in South Carolina where the work was done on the stringers, transom, and floor. My intention was to rig with the best of everything. Boat has been in freshwater lakes three times for test runs since the transom, stringers, and floor were redone. The boat felt solid during each trip. I used a 1978 200hp Mercury on it. Motor has a brand new water pump, in-boat trim pump and reservoir, brand new custom hydraulic lines from the pump to the dual ram trim cylinders, new performance plug wires. The motor will sell with the boat, but is not currently running. On the first and second test day I was running a 28” pitch Steve Smith offshore cut chopper and it was too much pitch. The boat still planed out well and ran around 45-50 at 4300rpm. On the third test day, I was running a 23 pitch offshore cut chopper by Steve Smith and saw a top end of 60-70. Boat was comfortable to drive on smooth water and really “sat up” out of the water on the best high-speed runs. Felt like it started flying in the air and wanted more. The prop and motor ran better and better the higher I raised it and at the end of the day, I was greedy and jacked the motor too high (no low water pickup) and ran out of cooling water. Motor lost compression on starboard cylinder bank. The motor still cranks and fires on the three port cylinders. The motor burned a section of the head gasket. Possibly you could get a few more hours out of the old motor with a new head gasket. Tilt/trim work great. Lower unit has new water pump and gear oil. Lower unit maintains good seal and prop shaft is in good shape. Personally I would replace with a drop-on 2.4L 200hp power head. The current motor has history of salt-water use indicated by corrosion in the cooling passages. I would not be comfortable just putting in a head gasket and running it because the cylinder walls are thin in some spots. The motor did well considering it is a 1978! I have a brand new Bob’s nose cone kit and flush adapter I will sell with the boat. The motor cowling is in good shape for a 1978.

Asking 4000. Trades considered as well. Don't hesitate to ask for other photos. The boat is in my front yard so I can take any photos you need to see. Thanks. -Rusty
