exh snout on v-4

how and where can i get a snout for a v-4 and also are there any homemade versions also benefits of this mod?

Bob's Machine makes one but you will have to modify the inner exhaust housing in the midsection. http://www.bobsmachine.com/savers5.html

Homemade exhaust relief method is to drill four or five 1/2" holes in each side of the lower unit above the cavitation plate where the exhaust necks down. Easier to drill accurately with the lower off. No changes in the midsection are required.

Main "benefit" is noise.
