If anyone out there is remotely considering the purchase of a performance catamaran in the 18' to 24' range, I highly recommend your first call should be to the "Wildman", Randy Corsen.

Randy is a dealer for Liberator Boats in northern Florida. He specializes in taking an already high quality boat and tricks them out to absolutely the highest quality rigging available. I have had the pleasure of meeting with Randy and viewing his personally owned rig, a twin 2.5 setup on a 21' Liberator. No photos or descriptions can accurately portray the custom paint job or detailed rigging on this boat. You may have seen this boat and his old boat (yellow w/blue flames) on S&F. Randy also has a 24' and two smaller ones in stock, ready to go. Randy is open to trade-ins and will assist you with whatever questions you may have. Even if you’re a deep-vee purest, do yourself the favor and check out Liberator.

I haven't ordered one yet, but when I ditch my current ride, I'll be making the trip to Daytona.

You can contact Randy by Email liberatorboats@yahoo.com or call 386-761-8050 days or nights at 386-788-4378 till midnight or write:

No, I'm leaving it stock because I'll probably sell it this spring. I'm gonna need cash to trick out a new 30ft Liberator!

The 30 is'nt out yet. This is just the plug. The deck mold is done. They're working on the hull now. It'll probably be summer. They gotta set up the 1st one and do some tests before I get one. The 1st will be Liberator's owners boat. He's talking twin 800 plus hp. With that power, it should run close to 140mph. Just an estimate at this point. I may do a custom 24ft like my 21, only with 300X's. Time will tell.

Wildman,
Is this 30', Liberators first, total in house design?
It looks like it will be one sharp boat...

like the 24' that is clearly a Skater copy. I think they move the cockpit up a little.

Randy,

I've got the scheme in mind. Right up your alley but for now I'm keeping it under wraps. Sorry. What's the draft of a 21'? We've got about half of inch of rain on top of the frozen lake!

Later,:)

Wildman,

Nice looking boats. How would a 24 run with pro max 225x's run?
Just dreaming Jason

I've never rigged one with 225 Promax's, but I've been told about 100mph. Ing, we can use a jet drive in a 21 and it should skid across that 1/2 inch of water fine!
