Cool videos. Its odd how these days there isnt the same fan fair for world record attemps as there was. The Queen comeing to visit the boat driver. Awsome! I could see in the that first video that he was going to stuff her, the angle of the sponsoons was to high. To bad looks like a great run. it was wodd as I felt my heat sink as did his craft. Sad forsure. He was very brave and confident.

A lot of the old news reel stuff was like that. I think the drivers were Loney Toons produced.

I watched the first one. to me, my first thought was ,,, that sucked. I lost my Dad to a high speed boat crash. I don't find these type of videos entertaining. the next time you take out that boat of yours, and push it to it's limit, think about all of these people, and your family. fun out

Like I said....its sad. I never said the crash video was entertaining.

I think the history is extremely interesting. Unfortunaletly, a lot of documentation only happens when things go wrong.
