Davenport's a bit rural (or it least it still is for now) But it still puts you fairly close to the Kissimmee/ St. Cloud crew. It puts you in between us and Vector Pat & co.

Hell I'm sub 60. :D They're really polite and either tell me where they're going, or patiently wait for me. Sometimes they let me lead, they save fuel and I get to see what the lead dog's view looks like :D :D

It don't matter how fast ya are 'round here. Folks just like to get together and hang out. Don't matter what ya got either. If it floats, its cool. That's what the Syndicate is all about. You NY boys know 'bout da family don'tcha?

Say good bye to pizza, bagels and all the other good food your use to. NY food cannot be duplicated, its a water thing. Do yourself a favor, sell the rig up here. When a wheel falls off the trailer your gonna wish you sold it. Its better to go down with a little cash and get somthing else. 80?? My gps said 60s. You will probablly get more speed for the money down there, cleaner too. Good luck.

What we lose in pizza and bagels (yeah what's with them funny tastin chewy doughnuts anyway??) :D :D We make up for in barbecues, seafood boils, fritters, and corn bread. You'll live. Next December when your NY friends are shoveling themselves out of their driveways, you'll be kicking the A/C off before you leave to go boating for the day. :D :D

Hey Pitbull, if we put the batteries into that GPS backwards do you think it'll read 80 when I'm doin 60?? I may need to borrow that :D

I just cant live without NY food. And waiting at a fast food joint to eat kills me. Its just gonna take a little to get use to.
As for the Garmin no, his boat ran mid 60s wiich impressed me concidering its a 20 footer with a stock 2.4 200 with a stock gear case. A coned case and the right day I think early 70s will not be a problem. Good luck Vulture

Pit Bull, you're not the first person I've heard talk about missing New York food, or just the general feel of the place. I've only been to a couple of places in NY, and never the city. I've been to Batavia and Rochester. No wait I almost forgot. I've been to Lon Guyland. :D Hicksville to be exact. Many years ago.

I did the opposite back in '91 I moved to Maryland after spending most of my life here in FL. It was like a real life version of the country mouse and the city mouse. I damn near got run over for the first 5 or 6 months I was there. Spent two years in the Rockville area. It only cost me a marriage (no big deal really). I found the majority of the people to be way too uptight. I met some really good folks while I was there, but I got homesick and headed back south.

We'll do what we can to help him out. It's cool he's gonna be fairly close by.

at 5500rpms i know for a fact we can spin that stock motor to 6400 we do it all the time by atlantic beach inlet over there by the toll booth thats where we try and open it up...boat also has 2:1 gear ratio which sux for top end me and my dad=400 lbs up front plus gas....hell if my dad grew a pair of balls and opened it up i think mid70's would make it no doubt on the prop calculator 2:1 with 10%-20%slip(sumthin like that) and 6400= 77.9 or sumthin like that figure it out...if we hit 66.8 that dat at 5500 im sure theres more to go...Steve would u consider to movin to florida??? Screw NY we have nothing for boating up here besides boat builders...goto Florida where the weather is nice the lakes are calm and there is no tax....hell i wonder wut car insurence would be for me down there up here i gotta quote for a 87 IROC they wanted 3600 bucks!!!! U BELIEVE THAT!?!??!?!its nuts..anywayz the case is gonna goto bobs soon hopefully the problem with my dad is hes starting to hit that age where speed dosent matter to him its all about the "family" u guyz know wut im saying??? If he ends up selling the streams hes gonna be riding in a rinker or sumthin disgusting like that, that dosent go over 50mph...If eventually he gives me the stream i wanna do my own work to the boat..maybe look into getting a bridgeport and def. center steer with a bobs cone and maybe i can fiberglass a custom sort of tonneu cover to the back to make it have that race look either way it turns out hopefully il get my own thing....Steve ALSO I WANNA RIDE ON PITBULL MAN!! wuts up with that?? call me sometime 516-771-4791 (anyone for that fact) c ya later guys

PIT BULL waits, lounges, grabs a hold and shakes until its over.
2 to 1 shmoo to 1, the gear ratio is directly affected by the props pitch which will compansate for the difference. Your engine isnt powerfull enough to turn 6400 rpms with the pitch you run. You would have to drop pitch size in order to achieve this. Thus loosing mph. I have been south quite a bit. I couldnt live there besides I spent 2 years building a buisness which is doing nicely here. Closing the doors would be the most unprofitable move I could make. I know a lot things suck about NY but my roots are too deep to leave.
