Guys,
I'm looking at installing a new head unit in my Chevy blazer Xtreme. The factory one goes through spurts of not coming on and part of the lights are burned out. I really don't know much about stereo's these days, but I'd like one that has a display so I can plug in a back up camera. I'm really not a huge fan of the touch screen only displays. Anyone have any suggestions of what they have they like?

I am an alpine guy all the way. Function and features they are awesome and the 117 B/U camera with the l.p bracket is way cheaper then anything else I could find. I have a 910 in my Silverado SS full nav, dvd, Bluetooth, camera, 5 channel surround sound, I also have the new pxa-h800 processor to install I waited a year for it. I have a 205 in my 2001 Jimmy, I had to get a dash cover from an 02 to make that fit and then make a custom bracket to install it as the 01 jimmy was a factory din and half unit only. Their new digital amps rock as well the pdx series is small footprint, stackable, run very cool and really pack a punch. They are not the cheapest but there new head units are awesome and packed full of features like cell phone per driver memory, one touch setup per car make and model etc.

X2 for Alpine. I sold and installed car audio for years, even went as far as holding car shows and sound competitions. I always ran Kenwood head units because of their 24 bit burr brown dacs, higher pre out voltage, and built in eq, but an Alpine IVA with the PXA processor is amazing as well. The PDX amps are unbelievable, I have a 1000w for my sub, best sub amp I've ever run (and I've had a lot...) I got out of the game when Alpine started to whore itself out to the box stores, pretty sure they're still in Future Shop....
