Sam:
What program are you using to stich those scans that are too
large together ? That is one thing I have trouble with and can
never get it right...
I don't have my copy of this Look issue with me, but if I remember, none of the write up ever mentioned the brand of boat anywhere..... Guess we never paid for advertising in Look magazine !!

I knew those pictures would get your attention!

I use Photoshop Deluxe and the special tool to workout the seams is the "healing brush"

Its a pretty complex operation and took me about 45 minutes to do that one.

If you have some that need to be stitched send me the parts and I'll work on them for you. Send them scanned at 100% 300dpi, preferably formatted/saved as .TIF's directly from the scans. These will be monster files, but cable modems are wonderful

Sam:
I have Photoshop Limited Edition which does not have that tool you mentioned. I have an 11x17 color printer that I want to do some reproductions of the PowerCat literature for some people that want them. What I will probably do is take my origninals to a graphics shop that has a large format scanner that could easily scan the full size originals and once I have the files I can print the reproductions. Some of the test runs I have done come out real nice, almost can't tell them from my originals.
I am ghosting a watermark on the reproductions that I print so that they can't be passed off as originals, not that they are valuable or anything, just so I know.
Thanks for your offer of help.

Hey that is great. It looked like the glass was all there but for the transom mess. Kind of a neat hull for sure. Glad someone could do something with it.

His latest Scott 14 foot 3 pt hydro looks great by the pics he emailed me last week. He keeps churnin' 'em out! He plans to bring one of them to Clayton next year......another reason to show up there. This boat will have 2 75hp McCulloch "Custom" motors with the 1.1:1 lower units.......like I mentioned before....solid 65mph from a 1963 rig.
