Oil Alert Box

Can the black oil warning box be removed after oil injection is removed, or dose it play a part in any other warning system on the motor ? Thanks

you should remove it. It will alarm if it doesn't detect pulses from the oil pump sensor. Make sure that the wire going to the alarm horn remains connected to the temp overheat sensor, so that it can still function. Take the connector on the sensor and ground it to see if the temp alarm works properly. (assuming the sensor is OK)

You're using the merc blockoff "plug" part, right?

Thanks for the info and yes it will be pluged just need to make a parts order. Any paticular kit better than another ?
