Any Mirage Jaguar Jet owners out there. I'm getting ready to convert mine back to a jet. I had converted to an outboard 5+ years ago and I just recently bought Bobby Feagle's Ski Racer so its now time to put mine back to its original state. Would love to see some pictures and know what setups are being used and what speeds. I might be able to purchase the 454 back that came out of mine but I've talked to some people and they said to go with a small block and hop it up. Not really sure what route to go and what the benefits are with small block vs big block other then weight.

Sounds good. Bobby Feagle told me a younger guy was running one near him in FL and he was seeing 132mph. He had a 800+ cu in motor in his. Not sure what all else he had done.
Would like to see pictures of everyone elses.

I posted pictures of that mirage. was told they were photo shopped. I run with that boat in Alva on occasion.
Great guy. Boat is awesome and yes sets and runs very very well. Over 1000 hp. beautiful boat.
I have some great video of him running. You can really see how nice the boat sets and runs.
Not sure I have seen a quicker faster boat on the river.
Dago.

Seeing how jets work off of tourque it looks like the only advantage of a small block would indeed be just weight. Some people will say that if you put a large enough blower or turbo`s it will run with the big blocks,,,,,,,Of course untill you do the same thing to them and then your where you started in the beginning. When talking jet`s it best to start big not small.

Here is some pictures of mine. This is when I first got it. It was wrecked up front. The previous owner wasn't familiar with Jets and the steering and hit a floating log and nearly ripped the front right sponson off completely. I had it repaired, then had all the jet components removed and fiberglassed it shut to put my outboard on it.

Once that was all done we painted it and I designed this Monster Energy theme. It came about because I was flipping through the Livorsi catalog at the time and saw the lime green bezels and wanted a scheme to go with off that. I originally had a 225 Pro Max on it then switched over to a 280.

Finally tracked down the May 1996 Edition of Hot Boat Magazine which featured my boat. Here is the pictures. Now I'm really tempted to find someone to put this boat back to the original color since there is some significance to it.
