Sorry to ask a question on your thread, but I have a 235 with the same square exhaust snout and have never seen it before. Is that an aftermarket snout that was cut or did these engines come from the factory with the big square exhaust outlet? Thanks for any information.

@ 97mirage there was a few omc's that came stock with that type of exhaust cut out but some people could just cut a hole and weld in the snout. The one on the above motor is factory. Hope this helps
