Oh man that brings back memories. Specially the polite hand gestures :p I remember being like "holy crap dad! just let me do my thing!"

Priceless experience right there. Racing with the old man are some of my top memories right now.

Checked out this thread and followed the link and to my surprise it was my Youtube video. That was my son on summer vacation at Lake Norman this year. He is really into the boat and has turned out to be a huge help!
Thanks for the comments!

now that i am 53 and dad is gone and i must say very missed my best memorys were our times on our then new 1976 18ft glasstream with the optional 70 hp evinrude and i thought i was the luckyest boy on earth to be piloting that boat
i hope your son realizes some day how lucky he will be to have these memorys

Great video!

Buy your son a Lifeline jacket and a helmet for Christmas or his birthday - whatever comes first.

He is only 11yrs old. He has ridden in calm water over a 100mph but no ocean racing yet. I do not feel at 90 in 2-3's that it is hard for him to hold in the seat on his kness as when he is sitting down cannot see over the dash! Has a booster seat.

Thanks Guys!

That was just AWESOME!!! Got me to thinking and I remeber the first time dad cut me loose in our boat. It wasnt the fastest on the water but I thought I was doing a buck 20 and the adrenaline rush was outta this world. He will always remeber that day.

Thats is awsome. It reminds me of when I was 9 years old back up north my dad had a 16 ft Larson Wildfire with a 150 tower of power on it and I used to take it out off the beach and race all his friends by myself in the boat. I have a picture but dont have a skanner to load it to my computer. It was on the site years ago but I cant find it now. Great video Dad:thumbsup:

Funny thing here is the Dad looks like Dale Garrett the ex nascar driver LOL!!! You could be his twin LOL!!!

Thats good stuff. He can show that to his classmates and say. "You mean you and your Dad don't do that"
