Checkmate Guru's

Somebody that knows checkmates pretty well maybe can answer this....yesterday I saw a little boat....in the neighborhood of 14-16' long ....had a 90 Merc on it....on of the 4 cylinder motors but what really caught my eye....course I was looking in my side mirrors by then was it appeared to be a tunnel type hull. Very similar looking to Mr Deameanors little Biel tunnel. Really cool looking little boat. Was I seeing things or did checkmate really make a small LTV style boat or did someone just put checkmate on the side of the boat?

Only tunnels CM ever made was opc racing tunnels back in the early 70s. Nothing like a Biel or Baja scatcat. The 13' Cm Playmates were v hulls.
