View Full Version : Solid lower mounts, weak a** rubber upper mounts

I have a 1989 Johnson 200 GT that has solid Land and Sea lower mounts (I think) and a stock rubber upper mount. Is it ok to run like this or does it put too much stress on the lower mounts (I always heard that it did). Am I really gaining anything by only having solid lowers?
