Isn't the 225 proxs same weight as 300 xs. I found the 300s less expensive than the 225s. Just wandering I would love to have a 300xs on my ski racer

250xs and proxs run a bit over 100 from what I have herd. Probably 110 on the right day with the right setup.

Noticed that most are talking about 250xs why not go for the 300xs cost is only $200 more on the 300. Just asking was told by mike Mullins that a ski racer with a 300xs should run 1teens to 1twentys.

I put the 250xs on mine because I already had the motor. I would like to put a 300 on it someday. I hear that getting the right prop is tuff with a 300 on these boats because of the rev limiter. I had the rev limiter raised to 6800 on mine. Gave me a better range of props I can use.

With a 300xs with 36p adam ran 120+ in his river racer every time out. Brent had a ski racer that went 125+ with a 300x. Neither of the boats were lightweights or anything.

The e-tec is about the same weight plus a heavy hyd plate this is how mine sits. Rub rail is pretty much the water line with fuel in it.

No idea. I've missed the last couple of years of that rally. But they're not among the winners and the guy who took the win averaged somewhere around high 90s. He came in 2 minutes in front of a friend on a 21 footer V-hull that I KNOW runs 96 on his best day.

The small tunnel class saw a SHARP decline after the first guy brought a 28 skater and owned everybody. All the top racers moved to cats the next year.

They used to run high teens during the golden age of STVs there. It's a shame if you ask me.

These guys took home the win last year on that class. I have a feeling you'll like their choice of motor. Boat aint so flashy though but it got the job done ;) https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/740844_305229539597131_276275988_o.jpg
