I have been selling quite a few stick anchors to S&F members. They are great for beaching, shallow water anchoring, fishing, etc.
The anchors are made of 3/4" solid fiberglass rod with a plastic T handle attached with epoxy and a set screw. There are several stick type anchors on the market like the "Wang Anchor" and "Stick It" anchors that run about $80 or so each. Mine are roughly half the priced and made from a nicer material coated with a white UV coating similar to gel coat but virtually impervious to sun damage. Because mine are coated, you do not get fiberglass slivers common with the other brands.

I have some blemished stick anchors I have reduced to $35. These have the new t-handle and the imperfections are very minor. They in no way effect the use or durability of the anchor. They are small cosmetic blemishes such as small scratches and/or the stick not being 100% perfectly straight.
I have about 30 of these in stock. Full warranty applies.
These are 8' in length and weigh 4 pounds. If you want a shorter one, I can cut it and add a new tip or you can cut it yourself with a new hacksaw blade then grind a new tip.
I can ship multiple anchors for the same price as one so consider combining an order with a friend to save a lot on shipping.

That third picture makes it look like it's tied off to the barge :):)

That would definitely be false advertising!

I did warn him not to let the kid untie the line. I would likely fling him down the beach.
