Love the thread about breaking the 200 mph barrier with an outboard:

Hope the thread continues as things progress.
I was thinking about Jon's Pugh Hydro & just how great Jon had it dialed in.
I'd like to see the Unlimited Outboard Class revived in 1/4 mile drag racing and was wondering if anyone else is planning on bringing some really fast outboards into drag racing?
SDBA still has a "PRO" class for Unlimited Outboards. It would be "heads-up" drag racing between outboards only with no restrictions on ET or HP!!!!! So you wouldn't have to dial anything in for ET...... just hit the starting clock perfect and full throttle to the end of the track ....... First outboard there without red-lighting WINS!!!!!! It would be great to have a field of 6-8 or more outboards competing on the National Lucas Series Circuit. I'm sure with some great competition, we'd see some tv time on MAVTV, ESPN, or CBS Sports.
Anyone want to try to make this happen in 2014? I'd like to get my Pugh running and compete ....... sign me up!!!!!!
I'd be willing to work with anyone else that wants to compete in the Unlimited Outboard Class & help promote it for next year?
