Hello there all.....
just purchased a 1968 17' j-craft with a 120 johnson 23 pitch prop. Gas tank in front.
love this little boat but boat tends to porpoise a lot.
gets far worse when pulling a skier.boat will run at 40 mph on the speedo with no trim.motor is set as high in the mounts as it will go .
there is a 19 ' j on the lake he runs a 225 Johnson and never see this happen to him, seems to have a lot more hull in the water at any speed.
please help.
