Hi Guys,
I was hoping someone would be able to identify this boat I just picked up. It's sitting on an 18' trailer (Hanging off the back about a foot and a half). I know it's a 1986 Charger, but not sure on the model or anything else really.
Serial: ZMF10194B686
Motor: 150 Merc XR2
It's in need of a little work, but should buff up just fine!
Cheers

Sorry I will try this again...
That is a Charger DL. The hull was originally built in Ontario was a popular hull. It is a great boat to get into the performance boat world with. A number of guys in the fast boat scene in Ontario started with these hulls. You will find some good info here on these hulls if you search or also over at www.hpbc.ca (http://www.hpbc.ca). Ask away with your questions too! What kind of prop are you running?

Looks like it's at The Cove too...
I think I might know that boat actually...one of my customers had that exact combo. 86's are well built just make sure it's not rotten. If it's the one I'm thinking of it spent most of it's life on a lift.

Thanks for the info! It's running a three blade 23P aluminum at the moment. I will have to upgrade once I get the tach working again. The boat probably wont see the water this week, hoping to splash it next weekend and try it out!

Yup it's at The Cove, I work here. I'm going to have one of the guys take a look at it this week. It has a "few" issues that need to be resolved before it goes back in the water. It was definitely kept on a lift and in a boat house.
