ODBA Duel On The Delta Stockton, AL August 17th &18th

Wanted to invite everyone to the ODBA Duel On The Delta Drag Boat Race August 17 & 18, 2013. The races will be held at Live Oak Landing in Stockton, Alabama. The nearest hotels are in Bay Minette, Alabama which is about 10 minutes from race site. Food vendors will be on hand both days of the event. We plan to have a big turnout. Sponsors have secured a minimum $10,000 purse for this event. Saturday night, The River Pub will host a party and will be cooking for the racers and their families so plan to have good food and a lot of fun.

Some of the hotels in Bay Minette have offered special low prices for racers. The hotel information will be available on the odbaracing.com website soon.

I wasn't there but heard the results were as follows: SS-Freeman, LR-Hensley, 1400 Mod-Gore, Pro Mod-Stovall, Gas-Casey M.. Don't think Pro drag or UL were able to run due to Expired Permit..

Thanks. That sucks when your class cant run due to lack of time. It happend to me at Eustis one year. We were all in the water for SS and they called the races. Permit time ran out. I waited all weeknd to race and we were the last class on sunday. DOH!!!:eek: Oh well stuff happens. Hope they will be able to run them tomarrow.

That sounds right to my recollection, Taylor.

Boat count was pretty decent...I'd guesstimate 30-35 boats total, give or take a couple.

Racing starts at 10:20am tomorrow. Hopefully, there won't be a problem with the lights again. Start time was delayed almost 2 hours today.

Yep...that was the top 3. Jamie broke in the semi's on a bad start. I don't think he had a loss yet at that point, but not 100% sure.
