My friend Mike has a real 21 skater factory twin engine boat (not a copy but a real one) currently has a single 3 litre on it. He would trade it for a factory 21 skater single or work something out. PM me if you are interested.

Buy the extreme in the for sale section, sell the two pro max power heads on it and bass mid sections, pop two 280's and offshore cans on it and two fuel pumps and call it a day.

mrcrsr
07-07-2014, 06:16 AM
it is red and white, when he got it had no engines on it, but had the shims and everything else. in reality he is looking to trade for a single engine skater. the 21 twin is heavier then a single. we've had both boats(mine is a factory single) . his came somewhere from the middle of the country, has all the additional bracing in the back by the transom. i think he still has the twin engine steering system for it as well. He really is just looking to trade it for a factory 21 skater single engine boat, if anyone is interested pm me

Michael J Giesler

That skater was originally a single had a v8 for power then it was converted to a twin boat

i doubt it, memory serves correct mike called skater with the hin.(but he just got the weight of the boat) not to mention all the additional bracing in the back compared to my single engine 21. I could be wrong.

I find it hard to believe that it isn't a factory twin. Especially after having both boats side by side. And all the additional factory bracing that my boat doesn't have let alone the heavier layup. He will try to post some pics of it tonight.

Well that's my boat, it is an original twin. never before rigged as a single or it would have popped up some body work when it was taken down. the boat is so solid compared to my buddies single it's like a hollow door to a solid door anywhere around the boat. it weighs an estimated 3-400 lbs. over a single to the best we can come up with. I have the 2.5 liter offshore wing plates, the ty bar , the helm , 2 nd batterie box ( i only use 1 ) batterie cables to the front of the boat , all the bracing and brackets to go back together. still has the dual peddle and shifter.

If anyone is interested in a trade for a single or to purchase the hull you can contact me thru a p.m. and get my number.

No, you have 6 knee's, with some extending in front of the bulkhead, the most the early factory boat's had was 5(mine), with no extension past the bulkhead, the later one's had 4

Exactly! I can get pics if necessary from the one here, it has 5. Never did they have anything forward of that rear bulkhead.

This boat we are talking about was originally bought by a buddy of mine from Ray Leach of Jacksonville Florida it had a V8 Evinrude with nitrous and then my buddy sold that and had some excellent fiberglass guys cut the transom and put more stringers in the boat if I remember they removed the original transom to make it for twins that boat was never a factory twin boat...

thats pretty wild. i know mike was told when he bought the boat that it was a factory twin, i told him to get in touch with the guy he bought it from and see what the deal is. i thought he had asked skater about it, but apparently got the hull weight from them only. its pretty obvious looking at the pictures that it is different, the most obvious is the missing center brace on mike's skater. i've seen the inside of mikes skater, and looking at the bracing/transom it looks factory, until you put it alongside one that is a known factory twin.

I bought this hull from Big Mike in Wisconnsin 4 years ago, he had it for several years from what I recall. there are no signs of any glass work ever detected on the inside or outside to say that this is the boat you are referring too. I'm not arguing with you guys im just saying it doesn't seem possible but I will look into it. I'm going to call Peter when I get a chance and run the numbers. it was sold to me as a factory 1 of 9 twin by Big Mike.

Do you know who supposidly did the glass work in Jax. to the one you are referring to. I am in Jax. and will take it to him to see what they say about it, the only person I can think of is Jack Barsh.

Owner was a nice guy and seemed straight forward. The only reason I didn't buy was I want one in better stock condition.
