225 Pro Max ECU question???

I been meaning to someone mo smarter this question?In the merc microfishe they list an ecu for the 20 incher and a different one fer the SS model,why? Is their that much more air flow diff on the two?I currently run a 225 modded slightly by JSRE and I run an ecu for a 20 in motta.I did send the ecu to merc for the recalibrated/updated unit but I am running a one piece exh plate with a drag type equal length tuner.Should I get me a diff one or keep on truckin ?

Difference in back pressure of the midsections is the reason for the unique fuel curves.
If you keep on truckin' be cautious for a while.
