For an event that big, that has the economic impact on the community like this one, is it not strange it would be canceled instead of postponed? September would be great.

They cannot re-schedule it due to the venue being booked up until November...would be nice to run there later in the year but looks like no race til 2014 according to committee chairman. The town will no doubt feel the economic impact from the lack of people that are usually in town..
