...It works. My 260 used to run 165-175 degrees on the right head and 155-160 on the left. Now the temp is even in both heads and runs 125 degrees. I picked up 3 mph also. I dont know if that is due to the dry stacking or not, but the ambient air temp and water conditions were the same as last time I ran the boat. All I know is it doesn't overheat any more and both heads now run the same temp. Thanks for all the help Greg!

I only ran my 26 waterski prop cause I ran outa gas before I tried the new 28 ET that Aquaholic cut for me. I figured 5 gallons was gonna be enough for 20 minutes of running and testing right near the ole boat ramp but the 260 just sucked it down before I could try the new wheel.

Here is a photo of the GPS that I took yesterday. Not bad considerin it was with my water ski prop.

Put that ET on it and show use you will hit the big 100 for sure.

I agree......If I can get 96 mph at 8000 rpm with a 26 RE4, and while sucking fumes, I sho nuff can get 102-105 outa that 28 ET cut. Well, I hope so anyway. 100 will be easy. Next I gotta get Aquaholic to cut me one of them ET's in a 24 pitch. I think a 22 is gonna be to little but a 24 should get me to low 90's and accelerate like a rocket. I wanna try out the 28 ET Cut before I do anything else.

O/B Dude, now, what would really have impressed me would have been if you had reached those 96 mph with a water skier behind the boat. ;)

I have some new pictures and will get everything up as soonas I can. Dave I will do a section just on the 2 piece. I will make it one long post I guess the big problem is I have about 25 pictures and I don't know how to put more than one in a post. 25 different post is alot of posting. Don't want to end up like Skip living infront of the computer:D I still think Barney would post It in an article for me since Greg won't, Maybe I could figure out how to use Jay's IP address it would be posted for sure:D I have to use 2 computers, one to down load the pictures to put them on a ZIP disc then go out to my other machine and post it. Sucks having two different operating systems. Some of my things like my Camera was bought before XP came out and they don't have a driver for it. I am working on it though and will have it up soon. Promise.

He will post it all as soona s I get it to him. I will have it all to him Monday or tuesday. He is more than happy to post it as an article since Greg wouldn't do it here. I will post a link to it as soona s it is up. I am also wondering what happened to the salt water care artcle he was going to do I sent him some Salt away for him to test and discussed the care of salt water motors with him. Guess you have to really be some one for him to post things. I am sure Barney appreciates the input and help with his site.

Greg,

Your cooling mods article was great, and I did format it for the website, however, as I mentioned to you months ago, I needed new pictures for it. The ones you sent were not detailed enough for an article (very grainy, low contrast, etc.). That is not your fault, however I do need the pictures. An article such as that would not be complete without detailed photos. Of course, your efforts are greatly appreciated. I just have to work on one article at a time.

Salt Away: I have that test planned, however, being in New York with sub-freezing temperatures for weeks on end, it's impossible to to perform this test at this time. I already outlined for you what my test would involve, and I need tolerable weather for it. All of the outboards here are winterized and out of service right now.

I try to treat everyone here as fairly as possible. Most people here know my situation... Trying to run the forums, update the website, write articles, do research, and answer e-mail is more than a full time job, but I love it. I love helping people and knowing that we are making a difference. I love the loyalty our members have to Scream And Fly. Most of all, I love the friends and high standards for forum use this message board has created. I do try, and I'm sorry if you feel that I have ignored your efforts. As always, you can call me anytime, but I'll give you a call tomorrow at your shop.

Greg
