Yeah...money was a little tight.
Yeah...we bought a bigger boat and didn't use it as much.
Yeah...it only hurt for a few months after it was gone.
Yeah...I'm kicking myself in the ass for ever selling it.
Sold my '91 Champion Mirage to a nice guy in Regina, Saskatchewan back in September of 2010. Another guy called a few weeks back from Ontario telling me the boat was for sale from another guy than the original buyer and had questions. I answered all questions, but now I can't find his number to ask my own?
What condition is it in?...still run good?....still have same engine?
Its all I can think about since that guy called me. I think I want it back.
Figured I'd put the feelers out here and maybe you could help me get farther along than I have been able to do alone.
Thanks for any help. Mark Wrocklage.278986

I spoke with you on this boat and remember it well, was in super shape and a real head turner. Not something you see every day, that's what I really like about it. Hope you find it !

Again, maybe someone in the great white north will see this post, recognize the boat and chime in.
Would love to see some current condition pictures or any updates that may have been made.
It was a pipe dream of mine to mount a bigger cubic inch Merc on it. I think a 250XS would move it along real well. Thanks. Mark

Thanks so much Jamescole. Gotta admit, I welled up a little bit when I opened the link. Yeah...sold it with a $1,000 custom cover, not sure why its not being used. Looks like they moved the boat over a foot forward on the trailer. Tongue weight was perfect before, has to be way over up front now. Oh well, that's an easy fix.
BTW, a fella pm'd me about a couple Canadian performance boat sites to look for it as well prior to Jamescole responding with a link. Its the little things that I appreciate most.
Thanks again guys.

it breaks my heart when a boat so nice doesn't get taken care of. it only took 3 years for it to show.. but aside from it all it wouldnt take too much to get it back into shape.

If you really like it, get it back, make it perfect ( see James Coles boat:thumbsup:) and keep it, agreed, by the photo's, that dumb bastard didn't take very good care of her.

Mark:
I am the other guy lol. I bought the boat from Jamie. I get my tech to check it out each year, then we run it once sometimes none. This year am too busy to get out to the beach yet. Anyhow, mechanically it is exactly how Jamie had it. Seats need work. You can have it back. It is way out of my league. Way toooooo FAST!!!!

Please post up current photos. Just show me the bad so I can get the bad news first. My boys are 18 and 16 now. Wouldn't that be a surprise for them to see this show up in the driveway. They miss the boat as much as I do. Thanks.

it is out on the beach. I am getting some pix taken tonight or tomorrow. Just unwrapped from Canadian Winter a month ago. Getting it to a tech before going on water. Do you remember which one of the 4 buttons on the side to get it started? I forget and Jamie's number has changed.

Hopefully it's not beached. Switches are in a baseball diamond pattern. 1st base is stereo power, 2nd base is main power, 3rd base is stereo power antenna (up/down), home plate is electric fuel pump. Important note: Tell your tech if he replaces the spark plugs he needs to use the washers along with the compression rings on the plugs. Marvin at Evolution Marine told me it was required with the head work done. Please don't forget. Please include pictures under the cowl.
