A few pictures of my sons 1980 Allison EP-15 that I have just finished rigging yesterday and on time to be his birthday gift.
I went with a 60 Mariner short shaft, Uflex Silversteer steering system and hot food just to keep it as safe as possible.
We have not tested it yet due to bad weather but I am hoping to do so tomorrow.

Way cool-but you know you just gave him a life long disease that can be expensive!! (A lot worse things to have then a boating problem is what I have always said).

It runs 52 on the GPS with him and I and 8 Gal. of Fuel. The motor is on the limiter and I do not have the right prop for it. Also, I am 2.5in under the pad because I do not have a low water pick up on it yet. The boat runs great though and is very stable (The kid is Thrilled).

This is no El Camino but I think it will do it. 1982 F-100 that belonged to my late grand father. Only 59,000 original miles
